Desripion: Flamingo

Long lean legs dipped into the water as he bent down to drink. Small waves rippled round him making splashes at the waters edge. Like clock work he bent down to drink every 20 or so minutes. All of this was done on one skimpy leg. Other than his occasional drinking times, he was a statue alone in the lake.

Making no sudden movements whatsoever he gracefully walked out of the lake, preferably to go to bed.

Ferns Last game "Season Defining"


As the last game of the Quad series and professional netball season, the ferns would always hope to win, but when it's the Aussies, winning is even more important.

Our last game against them was a 20 goal win to our friends across the ditch, meaning that to win the Quad series, we would have to beat them by 20 points or more.

Silver ferns coach said that this was a "Season defining" game to one news yesterday

Lance Amstrong Conspiracy


Lance Amstrong a cycling legend has been accused of doping.

Lance Amstrong has been stripped of all his cycling titles and banned from the sport itself, after the US anti doping agency said that there was ‘overwhelming’ evidence that Amstrong, had been involved in a doping program.

Lance has been asked to pay back many millions of dollars and many of his sponsors have fled.

The International Cycling Union has also turned away in disgust, "Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling," said the union's president, Pat McQuaid. In the same speech he also announced that Lance Amstrong would be banned from the sport.

Amsrtong also founded a charity, Livestrong, question is if it will stop, they will keep on going without their founder.

Hotel Transylnania Movie Review

Plot:

This Movie is about Count Dracula and His daughter Mavis. They own ‘Hotel Transylvaina’, a sanctuary in which no human has ever entered before, up until now...

For her one hundred and eighteenth birthday Mavis's father, Count Dracula wants to make it her best yet. It was all going well until in came Jonathon, a human!!!  

Review:

I would recommend this movie for ages 6-10 years. My brothers loved this move, but really, it just didn’t grab me. It was a good movie, I wont deny that, but for me it was a bit boring and it didn’t have much of a plot.

My Hoilday In Fiji

  In the holidays I was lucky enough to go to Denarau, Fiji, for 9 nights. I stayed in a pool side villa at the Sheraton. It was a wonderful time and I can't wait to go there again (It's too cold in New Zealand!). Here is a little recount of playing in the pool with my brothers and their friend Charles and his brother Edward:

  I stood there on the rock wall, looking down at the water 2 meters below. Can I do it? It does look pretty high. As I was worrying Charles had snuck up behind me and was ready to give me the fright of my life...

  "Boo!"
  I jumped up and yelped with terror. Everyone around me was laughing their head off, but I don't blame them, it would've been quite funny! 

  As the laughter died down we all stood in a line ready to jump. 3, 2, 1! We all plummeted down hitting the water like a boulder. Anyone sitting on deckchairs close to us would be saturated.

  As we burst out of the water, a grin ran across my face.

  George, my brother simply said, "Wow," and I agreed, it was a pretty intense splash!
"That again or do you guys wanna do a domino?" Edward asked.

  I quickly answered with "domino!" I had no idea what it was, but it sounds like alot of fun!
